International Sailing School Celebrates It's 25th Year On Malletts Bay, Vermont The International Sailing School has commissioned it's 25th season of excellence in sail education. Located at 511 West Lakeshore Drive in Colchester, Vermont; thousands have discovered the sport of sailing with our 2 and 5 day instructional programs. The Vermont season runs from early May thru the end of September. Owner & director, Robin Doyle,"can't believe we've been plying the waters of Lake Champlain for so long!" Robin started out as a sailing instructor in the early eighties after graduating from the University of Vermont in 1981. Originally from Essex, Connecticut, Robin grew up in the long island sound racing environment. She purchased the school in 1987 from founders John Landry & Paul Ravenna.Curriculum has grown to 20 different courses for the beginning to advanced sailor. New programs for 2005 include a classroom coastal navigation course and an adult dinghy learn to sail program. Applicable for all ages; 8 to 80; sailing is truly a life long sport -- an ideal environment for family quality time. All ISS programs certify sailors to the internationally accepted standards of the American Sailing Association. The credentials you'll need to rent and charter boats around the world. Biologist Report - Wild Trout Streams, Cumberland and Perry Counties A subset of unassessed streams were surveyed in the Sherman Creek and Yellow Breeches Creek basins in south central Pennsylvania to determine if wild trout were present.
